Matthew J. Hunter is an organizer and writer based in Los Angeles. He is the co-chair of CPUSA’s Richard Castro Club, and a member of DSA Long Beach, Community Self Defense Coalition-Los Angeles, and the Long Beach Rapid Response Network.
Matthew has written on communist history, decolonial politics, national liberation movements, and community organizing with Peoples World, PLB Magazine, and Red Star Tribune.
