E. Day is a Senior Editor for Geese Magazine from Southern California.
A staunch advocate of Marxist-Leninist epistemology, E. Day's work draws heavily upon the theoretical influences of Paulo Freire, Antonio Gramsci, and Deng Xiaoping—as well as modern contributors such as Ernesto Laclau, Chantal Mouffe, Stuart Hall, Andrew Samuels, and Xi Jinping. He spent nearly 4 years serving the Southern California District of the Communist Party USA, but is now a dues-paying member of DSA-LA.
Day is an ardent admirer of philosophical and aesthetic expression through film, fashion, video games, and more. Furthermore, he believes the liberation of humankind resides within its capability to create democratized technologies in the struggle for the hegemony of the oppressed.
